Objectives
- Match the color and description of the coolant with the appropriate engine
- Locate the coolant shut-off valves
- Organize the steps required to fill the coolant system if it is empty
- Identify the potential leak points in the air intake system post filter
- Locate the correct filter by engine type and platform in the service manual
- Describe the conditions where the air flow indicator could provide an incorrect reading
- Identify the different transmissions offered by platform and differentiate features between models from the same manufacturer
- State the suggested maintenance intervals for transmission service within the manual
- Match special features unique to each make/model of transmission
- State the differences in system components between Air and Hydraulic brake systems
- Describe the redundant system within the air brake construction
- Describe the function of the Hydraulic Brake Booster
- Locate and provide appropriate responses to condition of the Air Restriction Indicator
